The diverse target fish rods of the Seahunter X series have been optimized for the respective field of application and the individual fishing methods. Superbly equipped with saltwater-proof Seaguide guides, HMC+ carbon fiber blanks, robust spigot joints and non-slip EVA handles the Seahunter X rods are available at an excellent price-performance ratio.
The Seahunter X Surf rods please with their fast and powerful blanks with thin diameters. The lightweight HMC+ carbon blanks perfectly load up during the cast and easily cope with heavy surf rigs and provide outstanding casting distances. A high-quality shrink tube at the end of the handle ensures a firm grip and comfortable handling during casting. The night-glow tip is slightly softer and even indicates sensitive bites in poor weather conditions and in the darkness.

Rod blanks made of "High Modulus Carbon +" are made of high module carbon fibers with elevated density. As a consequence, HMC+ blanks contain only a reduced resin amount compared to conventional Pre Preg carbon fibers. HMC+ therefore represents a quality level prior to the exclusive HVF carbon fibers. Rods made of this exquisite carbon fiber material are faster, more lightweight and better balanced than rods made of standard materials with high resin amount or composite blanks mixed of carbon and glass fiber.

In October 2009, this "Think Clean" activity was renamed and streamlined by "BE EARTH-FRIENDLY" and we do not only clean up fishing environments, but also support the activities of the Daiwa Young Fishing Club (Daiwa Young Fishermen's Club) in Japan.
In addition to cleaning up fishing grounds, the company has also been involved in activities to convey the importance of the natural environment to children through schools such as the Daiwa Young Fishing Club (DYFC) and the development of environmentally friendly products.
