The Pro Staff LD Coastal Spin range has been developed in close cooperation with our DAIWA consultants Tim Jaschke and Horst Hennings. The rods have been purpose-built to meet the demands of dedicated sea trout angling. The 3.05m and 3.20m models deliver outstanding casting performance, combining exceptional casting distance with remarkable sensitivity. The versatile 2.75m model is ideally suited for shallow-water coastal fishing with lighter lures as well as boat fishing.
The premium, slim HVF carbon blanks with Nanoplus technology combine outstanding strength with exceptional balance. A powerful backbone ensures even at long range instant hooksets, while the responsive tip absorbs sudden runs and headshakes of hard-fighting sea trout. DAIWA's exclusive X45 technology considerably reduces blank twist, enhancing both casting accuracy and power transmission. During the fight, the 2.75m model develops a smooth, semi-parabolic action, making it particularly well suited for use with braided lines. Slightly extended EVA handles feature excellent leverage, superior comfort and perfectly balanced handling.
