Rod blanks made of "High Modulus Carbon +" are made of high module carbon fibers with elevated density. As a consequence, HMC+ blanks contain only a reduced resin amount compared to conventional Pre Preg carbon fibers. HMC+ therefore represents a quality level prior to the exclusive HVF carbon fibers. Rods made of this exquisite carbon fiber material are faster, more lightweight and better balanced than rods made of standard materials with high resin amount or composite blanks mixed of carbon and glass fiber.

In addition to cleaning up fishing grounds, the company has also been involved in activities to convey the importance of the natural environment to children through schools such as the Daiwa Young Fishing Club (DYFC) and the development of environmentally friendly products.
