The Deepdrop rod is specially designed for medium-heavy deep-sea fishing with up to 600g leads for redfish, lump and ling – but is also perfectly suitable for jigging in the pelagic zone for large coalfish and cod.

The thin, very lightweight but powerful HVF carbon blank in the handle section in combination with the exclusive DAIWA Glatech technology in the tip section provides the perfect alliance of power and sensitivity. The blank is virtually unbreakable even under extreme fishing conditions and heavy loads from depth.
