DAIWA's latest Basia XT Titanium carp rods combine exclusive and state-of-the-art DAIWA manufacturing technologies with outstanding performance and reliability for the highest demands.
The HVF carbon blank includes DAIWA's Nanoplus technology offering an exceptional combination of lightness, fast recovery and durability. The X45 structure ensures maximum rigidity and extreme casting accuracy. The 3DX material, integrated up into the tip, provides a powerful backbone and optimal performance fighting a powerful fish – ideal for fishing on long distance!
Another highlight is the V-Joint Alpha spigot joint, which, thanks to optimized BIAS carbon fiber material, supports slimmer blank designs and increases stability by up to 10% and noticeably improves the bending curve under load. Extremely lightweight Fuji Titanium SiC guides and the Fuji Gold Label DPS reel seat accomplish the rod's premium design. A hard EVA rear handle ensures great casting comfort and supports powerful casting.
The range of models is specifically tailored to different applications: The 12ft and 13ft versions with 3.25lb and 3.50lb test curves are true long-range specialists, designed for maximum casting distances and large waters. The 10ft. 3.00lb version, on the other hand, is ideal for short to medium distances and versatile use from a boat.
