Like its big brother, the Emcast 45 SCW QD, the Crosscast 45 SCW QD is equipped with a 45mm spool stroke and Slow Cross Wrap line lay.
The Crosscast convinces with its ultra-smooth running, tremendous retrieving power as well as its SCW line lay which enables longer casts due to less friction. The longcast edge reduces line friction during the cast and thus enlarges casting distances additionally. Perfect for remote feeding spots. The round HIP line clip protects the line and is optimally suited when the feeding spot has to be targeted with ultimate accuracy.
Thanks to the great line capacity of the 5000LD reel of 530m/0.35mm, also fishing at large waters over great distances is possible without problems.
The QD drag system allows you to react to changing fishing and fighting situations within seconds. The extra strong "stainless steel" axis lasts even at toughest strains and thus provides the security to net even big fish safely.
The reel features a "No Paint" surface – thus spalling of the varnish is not possible.
